Trouble burning movie files to a DVD?

I have this folder named "DVD volume" in my hard drive. Inside, there are folders named "AUDIO-TS" and "VIDEO_TS" where files are found (.VOB, .IFO, etc.) ... How do I properly burn it on a DVD so I can play it in our home DVD player? Can you recommend a good burning software? I hope it's also free. Thank you!
