My iPad won't talk to me anymore ? Please help ?

I think he's mad at me for just inquiring about an iPad 2 yesterday but I swear I'm not going to buy one. I love my iPad more than anything else in the world and wouldn't trade him for anything. But I think he is insecure and doesn't seem to realize this.
